Elect Petra Kuret

Vancouver Quilchena
Choose a Better B.C.

Vancouver Quilchena deserves an MLA who puts results ahead of politics.

Petra Kuret is a moderate, experienced business leader with deep roots in our community. She's committed to growing our economy, making life more affordable, and rejecting the polarizing politics that divide us.

She knows this community, and she knows how to get the job done.

BC deserves better.  Just results, not drama.

You now have a moderate choice on October 24. Elect Petra Kuret.

I’m running to be your MLA for Vancouver Quilchena because B.C. can do so much better with experienced leaders who want everyone to succeed.

Like you, I want B.C. and our community to reach its full potential.   We have it all – talented people, natural beauty, abundant resources and the gateway to Asia-Pacific markets, yet the NDP has squandered that opportunity.  And you want change.

Right now, the trade war, climate crisis, high cost of living and a weak economy have brought fear and uncertainty. This is a moment when the provincial legislature must rise to the challenge and face the future with courage and collaboration. Unfortunately, we have only heard from extreme parties, both with failed records. B.C. is at its best when we work together and meet at the centre.

Sitting on the sidelines was no longer an option.  To much is at stake.  Through my experience as a business leader and long-time community volunteer, I know exactly how we can do better and get results. The first step is to work together and reject divisive polarization that has taken hold in our community.

I’m running to revitalize our battered economy, cut unnecessary bureaucracy and streamline regulations to stimulate the private sector.  I want to bring back good jobs and reward entrepreneurship. This is how we rebuild B.C. so we have a thriving economy and future. It is the only way strong revenue streams will fund healthcare, education, environmental protections and social programs.

In an NDP or Conservative minority government, we will be the adults in the room with the power to force balanced dialogue and block extreme, ideological policies.  It is not vote splitting when you vote FOR someone, not AGAINST someone.  However,  it will take our community to make that a reality.  I am offering a moderate and pragmatic alternative so you have a real choice.

I have made the choice to bring my experience and passion to public service.

You get to make your choice about the future of Vancouver Quilchena and B.C. on October 24.
